Mini-Assessment
In today’s fast-paced, multi-tasking and highly-stressful world, stress exhaustion and burnout are important concerns in people’s lives. In Ottawa-Gatineau, there has been considerable change, transition and upheaval in people’s lives - from the federal public service to high tech, professional services, nonprofits and jobs to just get by.
When people add (or are expected to) take care of family and elderly parents, the stress becomes unmanageable, often masking the positive and meaningful contribution you want to make. Something has to give - and distracted performance at work, guilty feelings, resentment and exhaustion, and burnout not far behind. If it seems like too much, it is - and you’re not alone.
Compassion Wise is about helping individuals and caregivers alike, receive the compassionate support and care they need, to successfully navigate life’s expected and unanticipated challenges - and find greater meaning in their lives too.
